Multisensory educational software is a software that engages two or more of the senses of the students. Following best practice for teaching, our lessons should always include more than one sense in order for the student to be more engaged. This software is great for students who have ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, and of course visual learners. One example of a common multisensory educational software used in the classroom is touchmath. This is something that one of my professors introduced to me during undergrad and I thought it was great!
Below is a video of a teacher using touchmath in the classroom to teach subtraction. This multisensory educational software helps different types of learners be successful at math.
